Meet Dan Cortese, the Chief of Staff of AA Medical. Dan grew up in the Arlington Heights area and went to Notre Dame for his Undergrad. He then got his MBA From the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Before his MBA, Dan worked as an associate at Beecken Petty O'Keefe & Company. Dan came to AA Medical in July 2022 and is most excited about being involved in the planning and executing strategic projects that help the Company scale and grow.

My glass is half-full 

What is the most exciting part of your job?

The most exciting part of my job is working with colleagues across many different functions of the Company. 

What is something you are proud of?

I am proud to have graduated from The University of Chicago Booth with my MBA.

What makes a good boss?

Clear communication and leading by example make a good boss. 

Do you have any pets?

No pets currently, but I'm a dog-lover 

Do you have any hobbies?

Distance running, recreational sports (basketball and volleyball), traveling, strategy board games 

What do you most appreciate in life?

My family is what I appreciate the most in life. 

What is your favorite childhood memory?

Playing all sorts of backyard games with my neighborhood friends in the summer. 

What skill would you like to master?

Golfing – I went on a golf trip with some friends a few months ago at Zion National Park and have been trying to improve my game ever since

Listening to my favorite sports podcasts on my drive to work
