What's your ideal work-life balance?

I don’t know if I have an “ideal” work-life balance per se, but one of the many reasons I chose the career path of sales, along with working here at AA Medical Store specifically, is work-life balance. Someone once told me, “When you choose a job you love, you will never have to work a day in your life,” and that is how I feel every day. Feeling this way about my job makes the balance between work and my personal life seamless. In addition, having the flexibility of being in a sales role here at AA, I can work from anywhere at any time, and it never feels like a nuisance or chore. That is all because I love what I do- helping people and making a difference in the world!

What are your hobbies, and how did you get into them?
I have a few hobbies, and one is working out. I learned the importance of physical fitness very young by being in sports and seeing my parents prioritize it in their personal lives. So it has now become a non-negotiable in my daily routine as well. I love challenging myself to try a new class or exercise too! Another is Studying foreign & domestic wines; I lived in Florence, Italy, for a semester in college, where I studied food and wine. During that time is when my passion for learning about the different grape varieties and their regions began. To this day, I enjoy researching and trying out other wines, both foreign and domestic.

What is your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory is vacationing at my family house in Naples, Florida, with my cousins and family friends

How do you stay productive during the workday?

A few things help me stay productive, including a daily handwritten to-do list. Call me old school, but it is so satisfying to cross things off a list physically! Another way is post-it notes. If you walk by my desk on any given day or time, there is a 99.9% chance you will see colorful post-its scattered around. Typically each one has a significant number or goal, a quote or mantra, or essential reminders for my customers; all of which help me in some way throughout the day! Finally, I like to create small goals and challenges for myself. It helps make even the most mundane tasks fun!

What is the best vacation you ever took, and why?

The best trip I ever took was to Australia with my dad in 2019. We spent New Year’s Eve in Sydney, which was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We also traveled to a handful of other cities/islands throughout our trip. We even explored the Australian wildlife and saw Kangaroos, Koalas, and the infamous little penguins. My favorite part was getting to spend quality time with my dad, completely disconnected from our busy sales jobs and day-to-day lives. It truly was a trip I will never forget!
