Choledochoscope

A choledochoscope is used for the direct visualization of the common bile duct (CBD), which is a part of the biliary tree. The biliary tree includes the liver, gallbladder, and bile ducts, and it is responsible for the production and transportation of bile. The choledochoscope allows healthcare professionals, particularly gastroenterologists or surgeons, to examine the inside of the common bile duct for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
